Coles STC-4035 (used) Rare "Ball and Biscuit" Ribbon Microphone

Unique mic useful for creating announcer type mid forward vocals with filtered out bottom and top end. The 4035 microphone is a pressure operated electro-dynamic or moving coil instrument designed for a wide range of uses such as studio work or outdoor public address installation. This mic can be seen often in news footage from the 1950's and 60's. It has been one of the best and most reliable microphones the BBC ever used during this period.

  2. This is not a 'Ball and Biscuit ' or any type of 'ribbon microphone '. It is simply an STC4035 Omnidirectional dynamic microphone.
